Does anyone have any suggestions concerning cycle insurance cover ?

I want to insure my new road bike but do not know if I should approach a specialist insurer or ask my home/contents provider.

Home/contents will give better value. M&S home insurance includes bikes up to 4k as standard.
    Anyone seen my bearings?

I'm with M&S. Recently had a claim with them after I managed to drill through a central heating pipe  Everything has gone through smoothly.

Is that the claim or the drill?

I use a company called Sports FS which I highly recommend. They do cycling insurance cover including critical illness etc, might be worth looking them up. Hope this helps:)

I'm with Bikmo purely as my current home insurance provider laughed when I told them the value of my bikes.
