Hi,
A few friends are heading over(from northern ireland) to Ae on sunday primarily for the omega man.
Does anyone know if the push up path is open near the omega man, or if in fact there is a quick way to the top of the fun bit, ie to the last fireroad break where the final omega man fun starts?
Cheers.

I'm local to Ae and the Omega man is AWSOME!! Yes there is a push-up path at the foot of it, not sure if it goes all the way up. A quick way is to come straight back the way you came in (if youve parked at the Naze 7Stanes car park near the foot of omega man) and take the fireroad (uphill) until u reach a juntion.
Turn left there and keep going until u can see where the downhill track crosses over. Go right past there and you will see a drop to your right hand side. This is the start of the Omega Man. Its all downhill from here and it comes out near the car park. Locals call the foot of the omega man the Freeride park.
I hope Sunday will be good for you weather wise!! 8) :roll:Learn on a Hardtail or be crap forever!0 -
Cheers for the info.
When you say come back the way we came do you mean going over the cattle grids as if we are leaving the car park?0 -

BikerDan. Do you know if you can cycle all the way on trails from Ae to Moffat? I'm sure I saw a cycle sign with Moffat on it last time I was down. But can't find a track on OS map.0
