I purchased a Cannondale frame and fork December 06 and built the bike up over the winter months using it for the first time June 07 after no more than 10-12 rides the fork travel started to feel gritty and rough, on lifting the fork book I was shocked to see rust and pitting on the lower fork leg. Anyone else had issues with these forks or am I just unlucky. I have returned the fork to the supplier as a warranty issue. I simply ask the question to try and see if I am likely to suffer with this problem again ?
