I was recently bought one, I have not had much chance to use it yet other than a 10 min ride one night, its nice and bright, I would prefer Li Ion battery though. No 1 fan in the jonesy124 Fan Club0

nobody else got any comments, reading on the web it would seem mixed reviews but as its really just for commuting along an unlit road, it would seem not bad for the money. The Dinottes seem to be popular but can`t see them putting out as much light. My current Halogen are ok but heavy but the 15W combined output is not actually that great and run time is poor.0

ok switched them on tonight and compared to my 15W halogen, they are bloody bright. Plus its a nice white light as opposed to the yellow of the halogen. Think they should do me fine, without blinding everyone else0

would there be anything wrong with just getting these http://www.merlincycles.co.uk/acatalog/info_1006.html
and using rechargeable batteries in them?0 -
for being seen i`m sure they will be fine, however i have my doubts for seeing anything down a dark country lane. I`ve got LED lights which you can see a good bit away but are utterly useless for seeing with !0

LED technology has really come a long way the last years. I'm going to use one of theese:

this winter. I've tested a smaller version last year, that had a to short battery time:

Its output is about the same as my Cateye Daylites (Same as Smart, looks the same?) system with 10+6W halogen.___________________________0
