Hi, I have a Spec Rockhopper Pro 2007 with Rockshox Reeba SL forks and Juicy 5's. It currently has 160mm rotors front and rear. I want to fit a bigger one to the front but unsure on a couple of items...I can't find the info anywhere...

a) will a 203mm rotor fit, probably only need 180mm, but thought I might aswell get the biggest one

b) is it worth fitting a bigger one on the rear ( type of riding - only really cross-country, and going to Wales for first time next month)

c) been looking on Wiggle and there are 3 different types of mounting brackets - 'Seatstay' - 'Post Mount' or 'IS' - haven't a clue what this means :?

Would appreciate some help as I've looked everywhere, Cheers!

185mm will be fine on the front.

I upgraded my front brake to 203mm (on a RS Reba SL too), and tbh it's overkill, 185mm should be more than adequate.

The +20mm adapter for the 203mm disc also flexes slightly, which isn't ideal!

Not sure who I got it from, but I got an EBC disc kit (rotor and caliper adapter) for just under £30. I'm sure getting an adapter and rotor seperately would be cheaper though.
