The Lakes 25-31st August
Some of the usual crowd from the North East who used to post on WMB will be over in the Lakes for a week. We have a week full of rides planned but we are willing to adjust our plans if anyone wants to join us / show us their best bits (oo-err).
Sunday we look like starting with a ride around Hawkeshead/Grizedale.....

Good luck- I have just spent a week under 'canvas' in the south lakes and it rained (hard) everyday - we had to move the tent to higher ground and a lad with a Landy as his tow car still needed people to help push his van out of a mud flat that had been a nice green field when he parked up!0

Don't think we'd planned on Heartburn but we are open to suggestions. I think Nodrog and Carrie might be coming over to mine tommorrow evening for a bit of route planning/drinking....0
