    Fair play mate, you're entitled to your opinion, and you're quite correct that a forum such as this is the place to express that opinion. It's nice to see that you're not one of those tossers that gets really upset when people don't agree with them. Unfortunately, although you are entitled to your opinion, you're not entitled to ride on the pavement! It's against the law, for good reason, whatever you may think.
    It's just a fact that most people on here would agree that the pavement is not the place to cycle. Tariq, please see sense and stop riding on the pavement, it's less of a danger to you but far more of a danger to the pedestrians you are encountering on the pavement. We need cycling to be seen as a great pastime, which it is, but also to be responsible.
    Use your bike on the roads, cycle lanes and canal towpaths.
