Pompino chain

Sorry, another pompino thread! A mate gave me his old pomp wheels, ive stuck them into my 'lock up n leave' bike but what chain do i need to run on the supplied sprocket? is it 1/8 ? cos 9spd ones dont sit on the teeth! thanks

    Decathlon sell the same chain that was supplied with Pomp for £4

    Its called an SRAM PC1

    Depends if it was as stock Pompino or not. Could be 1/8 or 3/32. Most likely to be 1/8 as track sprockets are usually (though not always) that size. I think it is best not to mix them anyway. If it takes a SRAM PC1 then it's 1/8 and any BMX chain should also fit.

    Like Blonde said, if it's a stock pomp it'll be a 1/8" but will happily run on a 3/32" but not a mix ie chainring 1/8", rear cog 3/32"

    Yeah its a stock pomp and i found out in the meantime from a fxie nut at a TT it'll be ok to run 1/8 rear, normal on the front, and yeah a sram pc1 is what he said too. thanks for replies
