Could not believe it this morning when my husband and I woke up to see that our garden shed had been broken into.
It's alright though...they didn't take the lawn mower...they didn't even touch the power tools. BASTARDS!!
They took the one thing in this world that is so important to me. My specsh rockhopper.
Oh and they decided to help themselves to hubbies stupjumper too. I hope that they're happy with their steal! I am seriously gutted. Hubbie insists that the bikes will be in pieces by now being sold seperately.
Can any one help me? Is there anything else I can do? I can't afford a new bike just now I really need to get mine back.
I feel like I've lost everything...I was meant to be at Glentress today......these are tears!

All too common unfortunatly. Complete scum

I assume you've contacted the police. Do you have any insurance?

When we wake up in the morning, we have two simple choices. Go back to sleep and dream, or RIDE.

    The choice is yours...

Where abouts are you based? I live in Midlothian and am always out and about, can keep an eye out for anything cropping up around the area!

I'm really sorry to hear that. Bastards!!

I'm always nervous about what's happened to the shed when I return from holiday. Though to be fair my shed's such a mess it's like a ready made booby trap.

Hope you have insurance that covers it - check you home insurance - might be on it.
  • sorry for your loss... IMO sheds are for garden equipment and loungers.

    Bikes should be kept indoors.

    Try telling my missus that!

I'm really sorry for your loss. Having had it done before I know the gutting feeling it leaves.

  • tis a good point... when I have left my bike unattended I generally loosen the stem and rotate the bars 90° and tighten the stem again... (I carry that free 6mm allen key that came free with MBUK about 4 years on my keyring...)

    :)
