Have I made a stupid mistake???

I've just bought a wheel with a hope disc hub, but I don't want to use disc brakes as I already have a shiny set of Vbrakes, is it possible to run a disc hub wheel with v-brakes, or have I just made a stupid mistake??

it all depends on the rim not the hub.

what is the rim?

The rim is a sun big mammoth fat wheel.

Looks like I'll be ok, been hunting about and it seems that the rim is disc or rim brake compatible, phew could have been costly.

I think its discs rim, so dont think you can use it?

The hub has no bearing on wheter you can run V brakes. The rim however does -0 you need to find out ifs disc only.
