Yesterday I had a bit of an impromtue drinking session when I got tricked into going to the pub when there was football on. My friends managed to net a couple of other non-footy peeps too so it wsn't dire, and the second game was quite fun to watch (though maybe the beer helped!) Basically I don't remember leaving, Ironing and folding my shirt, packing it in my rucksack with boxers and socks, laying out my cup of tea and vitamin supplement, having a shower, and oiling my bike.

I found all of this out when I got up this morn and found evidence, like the wet towel on the floor (D'oh!) and the oil on my rear rim (bugger).

It was wierd that I didn't feel like I'd been hit by a freight train, but I didn't really think about it and pedalled off. I strated to go downhill on the train, until I got the sweats and was feeling rather peaky to say the least when I got off.

3km into the commute I barfed exposively at a set of traffic lights and had to sit out a couple of changes on the pavement before i could carry on. I'm still sweating beer now, and will need another shower before my meeting in an hour.

Just thought I'd share my pain. I can't believe I got wasted on a Sunday night! That was defo a BAD MOVE.

Is anyone else feeling as rough as me now?

no, im just still incredibly pissed off at how Rob Styles robbed us and gave that scum chelsea a penalty. Disgusting!
  • Hmm, I guess you are not a Chelsea fan then! i just thought the game was pretty good play, not much in the way of the dirty fouling that I usually associate with football.

I had fun watching it, although not supporting the teams probably does help!

    What goes around, comes around...
Remember Gerrard's "dive" v Sheff Utd last season to earn L'pool a penalty?

I feel all superior now. Had a good kip last night and cruised in this morning on my bike which was like riding honey, the legacy of 2 hours spent cleaning it on Saturday.

Is there a greater pleasure then riding a freshly cleaned and lubed bike? Glorious.

Very few pleasures are greater, very few indeed.

I had to double check the thread. I couldn’t believe no one had picked up on it earlier.

Not necessarily sick, maybe just a little twisted?
