Idiot proof (kind of)

I've designed a new idiot proof way to get me more space on the road.

I've tried and tested this for over a week, no matter how chavvy, white vanny, or careless the driver may be, I always get more space.

Feast your eyes!

I was going to suggest a hi vis vest with the wording of "ROAD SAFETY CCTV UNIT" as an option for some.

I've been thinking about what sort of CCTV warning sticker to put on the back of my bikes too. Any suggestions? The recumbent ought to be easiest with the large tailfairing...

I'm thinking of just 'CAM', 'CAMERA' or a basic camera symbol, so they can be read from a distance. Retroreflective in some way.

It would be nice to combine it would something polite like 'please drive carefully' or suchlike for closeup.

The advantage of a symbol is that it can be understood easily by foreign drivers.

Advertising you're wearing a video camera may well work with the cars but in some of the parts of Glasgow I cycle through, you'd just be asking to get jumped by a gang of neds hoping to steal your camera and sell it!

Neither will work very well on a recumbent though.
