upgrading wheels from bontrager select
My Trek 1400 came with Bontrager Select wheels and 105 hubs. After two years the rear hub is playing up (noticable wear) and it's been suggested to me that I might be better with a new wheel (cost of 105 hub and wheel build). With that in mind I'm considering a new wheelset.
What wheelsets would be the next level up? Obviously, cost comes into this, but what I want to know is what wheelsets are appropriate for my frame? (No point putting spanking top level wheels on my bike)
I'm 67kg and most of my cycling is training for sportive type events.
thanks

I replaced the select wheels that came on my pilot 1.2 within about a month of having the bike - they flexed so much that they would hit the brakeblocks on climbs! I'm not a heavy rider either at under 11st.
I bought the shimano R561 wheelset in silver which i am very pleased with. They had an RRP of £160 and I paid £125ish for them from wiggle. You can get them for just over £100 at the moment. I am very pleased with them- they are lighter, truer and much better looking than the selects. They don't flex at all and seem to be a good value upgrade over the select wheels.0
