Is the Specialized P All Mountain worth buying? it looks awesome and the spec is pretty good too...

Yeah it looks to be a good buy, I personally couldn't recommend a better bike, I presume you will be riding a lot of all mountain, but want it to be relatively thrashable as well. If so, then I'd say go for it.

Yeah, it does what people have been erroneously buying Hardrocks for - a bit of all mountain and a lot of beating the crap out of it.

It's a sweet bike, I got one a few months ago and have ridden it all around the south-east and just recently taken it to Spain and its been amazing.

When I was looking to buy it the only real contender that my lbs had in that price range was the Marin B-17 (http://www.marin.co.uk/marin-2007/bikedetail.php?ModNo=3771) and the spesh won it for me.

Its nice and light (at least compared to my old saracen) but still thrashable and I've yet to meet its limit, and the spec is pretty decent for the price (x.9, jucy 3's, marz AM forks).

Sorry for the essay, but overall its a great bike and highly recommended!

  • i want to do a jumps and trails mainly, i currently have a marin b17 (05). would there even be much point buying one? is £650 new worth it?

also... i want to buy a second hand one preferably, because new ones are a bit expensive, there has been none on ebay as far i know, is this because they are not very popular or not ver well heard off?
