  • The second to last design is too tacky
The second and third are the nice
The first and third are subtle whereas the third isnt very

Its between first, second, and third

P.S. How did you do those designs?

not if you get it from here, not that i condone piracy

Back to the matter at hand, I like the camo option but have you thought of black with a kind of lowrider tramline stripe in pink or baby blue, dunno where you could put it but would look COOL!!!

    Here's a few ideas.

I think the White Helius FR, the camo BMXTB, and the camo argon FR (near the bottom) are all great paint jobs.
Done properly any of these would look great. If the workmanship is not spot on though they could look crap.

i love the look of the DPM one (camo) but my choice would be to go for matt black, with gloss black decals or maybe gold 'uns, super stealth.

Go for a similar design ot the oldskool giant DH bikes, yellow red and blue. That or a bright silver.

well, white is the fashion now...
i can see it staying that way for much longer. The white halo twin rails have pushed it toofar, and soon i think white will be a bit tacky. Super stealth black (and i mean black everything, with subtle colours like red headsets and fork top caps) will be, in my opinion the next 'big thing'. Ok, so i sound a bit like a cosmetic weirdo, but you go faster if you look better (i think). Anybody agree???

If you look at road biking Black was the in colour for ages because everything goes Carbon fibre. Be different and go fo a unique look because in 2 - 3 yrs time mountain biking will be awash with bland Carbon fibre.
  • why not go for something that ties in with where you live. I thought of having a struting stag on mine to symbolise Cannock Chase, you get the idea :D

    Thanks bored HouseWife!!!

Don't thank me yet, wait til you can use it. I can't

I've been using it professionally for 10 years and I'm STILL finding new tricks...

As fer colors, All black - Matt - with new vinyl gloss Logo and stuff... very cool.

Whatever you choose I think Matt paint generally looks better with spot gloss finishing touches... and accent colors (blues, reds, golds whatever [but make sure it's all the same color] on things like dust caps, hubs, bottom bracket, seat clamp etc
get on your bikes and ride!

If you are feeling rich try Spectrum Powder Works in Colorado Springs
    www.spectrumpowderworks.com
have a look at their gallery.

They re-sprayed mine in a fifties hodrod stylee - ivory and metallic cherry, it's gorgeous...

This is true, but you'll have a custom, one of a kind paint job done by REAL experts. If you can justify spending two, maybe three grand on a bike (as many people using this site are prepared to do), what 's wrong with bunging another £600 for a custom paint job?

  • Because theres companys who will do such in this country?
  • Take a tip from Hot Rod styling and go for Satin Black....that bit classier than Matt Black - you can get it mixed up professionally too rather than just use rattle cans...

Add some subtle flaming maybe too....

***(Returns to custom car land)***
  • nooooooo not flames, very tacky.

something outlandish and flouresent, green or orange. With matching hubs

Zebra or Tiger print style is the way forward. In white and orange respectively. Luninous pink or Green would be a talking point.
