Revelation help - pumping up, uppers jump 15mm out of lowers

My Revelation just went pop on the adjuster leg

The seal popped up along with a nice foam ring.

I was just starting my ride when I noticed the fork was 15mm longer than 130mm and it felt knocky returning from the first 20mm travel. So I popped back home and let both pressures out.

Started pumping the + and got to 100 when it suddenly went POP.

Any help or ideas please, would rather not have to send them back to Merlin but will if I have to.

Sounds like they need pulling apart. Send them back to Merlins.

I've spoken with Merlin and they said to send them back.

They claim that they have seen this before and believe it is down to trying to turn the travel adjuster too far, causing an internal circlip to pop off/fail.

I don't believe I have ever tried to turn the adjuster too far as it is pretty obvious from the resistance that it is at it's limit, but hey.

Anyway, £20 to return them special delivery but they'll have them tomorrow at least.

They did say they could turn them around same day, so not too bad overall, so far.

Just thought I'd let you know that they turned them around in 2 days and they have been fine since.
