Hello,
anyone recommend any good clip-on mudguards for a road bike ? No clearance under the brakes, so i guess limited to short front and rear clip ons unless you can tell me otherwise (no eyelets either - in the excitement of buying my bike on a nice summer day, the last thing i was thinking of was mudguards)
thanx

get some SKS race blades, i bought some and they are excellent! highly recommended. Fit perfectly on a road bike with no clearance

Also, Race Blade copies can be had from Zefal and Tortec, amongst others, retailing for a fiver or so less.

  • I second that. raceblades are the answer - 2 mins to fit and work very well. you can fit them with rubber clips (easy to get on and off) or with zip-ties. I use the rubber clips and have no probs despite initial worries that they would need readjusting all the time. they haven't!
