bike stands

anyone know of a good bike stand to buy for about £50.00 i have seen the planet montage workstand for sale on pbk website but thay havent had any in for a month now anyone know who else sells them

    as luck would have it, i picked up Cycling PLus magasine today and in the gear review was a good looking stand from Edinburghbicycle.com.
    It scored 9/10 and was £70 ( a bit over your budget).
    Called the Revolution Tune Up Stand. I'll probably get one of these when pay day comes around. Its telescopic and foldaway, so ideal for storing.

    Arrived today from Chain Reaction (£59.99). Easy to assemble, very stable and holds the bike very securely.

  • I almost shelled out on a workstand and then I realised that a couple of spare tree ties, some string and the joist on the gazebo in the garden do much the same thing at no cost.
