anyone know of a good bike stand to buy for about £50.00 i have seen the planet montage workstand for sale on pbk website but thay havent had any in for a month now anyone know who else sells them

as luck would have it, i picked up Cycling PLus magasine today and in the gear review was a good looking stand from Edinburghbicycle.com.
It scored 9/10 and was £70 ( a bit over your budget).
Called the Revolution Tune Up Stand. I'll probably get one of these when pay day comes around. Its telescopic and foldaway, so ideal for storing.

I got that one off PBK a few months back, really good , heavy upright so quite sturdy

I almost shelled out on a workstand and then I realised that a couple of spare tree ties, some string and the joist on the gazebo in the garden do much the same thing at no cost.
