Used “standard” cam to record my commute

I wish you could see this: I taped a Sony (photo) cam to the handle bar. (Now that I can not afford even a spare tire--due to the recent expenditure (i.e. smashed window)).

Even though it looked ugly, it was amazingly sturdy. Also, even though I used a photo cam, the video was of a VERY high quality (this unfortunately wouldn’t show on youtube, as they resize and compress the file). Recording time is 11.18 min at high resolution – I will put the whole commute from Woking (Goldsworth Park) to Chertsey on youtube, in 3 parts, under 30 minutes total (8 miles). Anyway, if anyone would like to take a look and leave a nice ;-) comment, that’d be great: I already recorded part one (the first 3 miles) and put it on you tube. You can find it here:

I will record the rest next week, that is if it doesn’t rain ! ;-)

I will also put it on video.google.com, I think the quality will be MUCH better there.

haha  , I made I mistake: in the title I wrote: "Goldsworth Park to Woking", it should be "Goldsworth Park (Woking) to Chertsey". Well, will edit it later.

Can't believe I watched all that, what was a ll the beeping when you braked?

Think you should take more of a primary position from what I could see, didn't leave yourself any space.

Nice quality video, looking forward to next video!

Thanks Bianco, I really got excited at this 'video recording' hahaha  like a child, it's fun!

    >>what was a ll the beeping when you braked?

I think you are talking about the 'bell'

    >>Nice quality video, looking forward to next video!

The original video is of superior quality, it's a bit of a shame youtube degrades the quality to such an extent. Anyway, I think the second part will be more exciting (unfortunately the camera has enough memory for only 11 minutes of hi res video)--I hope to shoot it on Monday (if it doesn't rain, fingers crossed :D )
