Hayes sole disc brakes

Hey,just joined the forum and was wandering if anyone could help me,i've recently treated my self to a kona kikapu deluxe 2007 and i love it to bits but think the brakes should be a little better,they are good but they are not brill.i've only done about 40 mile on it and dont no wether that is enough for them to have bedded in yet?

take it in for its first service and get them to show you how to adjust them.

download the manual and read it.

Best adjustment I ever made to my So1es was to remove them and fit XT brakes instead.
The So1es can be a real pain & need almost constant tweaking to get right, but when you do get them right, they are fine. I just got sick of tweaking them.
