Hi All,
Ok so I'm here to found out what everyone thinks are the better of the two above bikes! Currently Leisure Lakes are selling the 07 Stumpjumper FSR XC for £750 and Halfords have go the GT I-Drive XCR for £810, but I think this will drop down in price too. So if anybody out their has either bike, please post a reply because I'm dying to buy either! + if possible what technical reasons do you think 1 bike is better than the other!
Cheers

The GT has a notch better forks, gears and brakes....but is a few pounds heavier.
At the time I got the GT for £100 less than the Specialized so an easier choice - it rides really well even in comparison to my Stumpjumper, which saves another pound or 2 over the FSR.
Unless you are a heavy rider or will be giving the bike a lot of hard use the Specialized would get my vote for the weight saving - the components are fine as they are, certainly for £750.
But make sure you get the RIGHT SIZE, ie try em out.

Test ride them both, one bike may have a slighly better spec than the other, but if you don't like the feel of the bike then it's a bad buy for you.0
