Ok, atm I'm not in the UK, but when I return I'll no doubt be spending most of my free time around my bike, either on it riding or creating new lines to ride. Well, atm I ride an "ok" hardtail, kit:

Giant Acid 1 2006 standard kit +:
/e standard kit found here: http://www.simplythebike.co.uk/product_ ... cts_id=713 )
DMR cheiftain mk 3s + saturn chain ring
other basic allterations ie new grips, tubes, protection etc

still got 07 truvativ boxguide to fit aswell

to get this bike back to its former glory, i'd need to:
replace rear wheel, seat post, grips

however, this bike doesn't entertain me asmuch as it once did, and although I'm a small rider (5'4" ~9 stone) the constant abuse I give it just riding has taken its toll. So I'm considering:

GT I-Drive 7 2.0 06

GT I-Drive 7 3.0 06

Or any other decent quality DH/FR rig for under £1000 (Only new please, I'm not into risking money on second hand rigs really)

And then, it'd also be spending up to £250 or so on a BMX to take down my local jumps etc, which'd mean selling my current bike.

ATM I'm in Tenerife (not hols, but working etc ^^)

Got ~£500 atm in the bank, around 800 euros saved also (will prob be close to 1200 euro before i go back in late sepearly oct), hence trying to not spend too much. Obviously the rig is the main priority, since it means I don't have to keep shedding money into maintaining the current bike which doesn't really do all I want it too. Then selling the current bike for a BMX, or keeping current as a bike to rag to hell.

Oh, and the BMX I may end up getting a cheap n chearful one, since they're not large jumps near me that I've built due to lack of run in space (3"x8", 2-3"x4" rhythm etc)

Thanks!
Ride as you would live; Hard.
