Hey Lee, I bought these Fox shin guards at the start of the season and they were terrible because they would slide down too far all the time. Mine had an extra sleve on them to help prevent this but it didn't work at all. http://www.mtbr.com/reviews/Pads/product_22368.shtml
    I took them back.

got them been using them for 2 weeks.

    sorted.

just a note the sizing is odd. calf size is not importante. the sizing is all in the length.

i am an ex rugby player at 175cm and went for the S/M.

what are you intending to use them for? i got a set of these through the post from wiggle today and think they will be perfect for me, i only ride xc and trail type stuff (too much of a coward for anything more hardcore!!)

i am just fed up with getting my knees and shins smashed by my pedals and cut to shreds by thorns and nettles. so i chose a set of thin lightweight pads, no good for big impacts but perfect for my li'l adventures.

I bought a set of the SixSixOne's that SheepsTeeth linked to above amd they seem to be spot on. Good protection, no slippage, double velcro attachments at each point and no rubbing whilst riding. Very comfortable and I completely forgot I was wearing them after a few minutes pedalling. Get a thumbs up from me.
