Road race organisers

Quick question - in lower cat UK road races do commissaires normally drive their own vehicles or is it normal for the organiser to provide a vehicle and driver ?
it's a hard life if you don't weaken.

    From my experince of Cat 3/4 racing Tom the organisers have provided vehicle and driver.
    And it's normally the family car too :wink:

    Both. If the official brings his own car and drives, the promoting club pays him for mileage. Depends on his preferences.

    I prefer to be driven - although I've driven myself many times.
