Chain slipping

I recently removed the chain cranks and cleaned them using a degreaser, I also cleaned the rear cassette and then sprayed the whole lot with WD40 now i seem to have a problem.
When I put alot of pressure on the pedals the rear casette is slipping gears all the time. I have had the bike on my workstand and the gears move through a dream up and down.
Any ideas would be very helpful.

Your freehub may not be engaging properly.0

If it was the free hub I would have thought that I would get the same symptom when it was on the workstand.
The other thing I thought was I had used the wrong oil making the chain slippy, could anyone confirm this?

I dont think so as you would have to put a certain amount of pressure on it before it would slip but that was only an idea. Wds ok for chains it corrodes seals etc.0

If the free hub was slipping can I fix it or is it a new one?
Thanks for all your help

Not sure i think it would be a new one.0

When I said slipping I meant jumpong between gears.

Freehub would need replacing, and Musahi is correct, cannot always be replicated in the stand. Could also be that the gears need adjusting, or the cogs/chain are worn.0

Did you split chain and rejoin it? sometimes this creates a stiff link which will slip on the drivetrain. Best way to check is to put the bike on your stand. Shift the chain into the smallest cog on the back, run the pedals backwards. if there is a stiff link you will see the chain lift off the smallest cog as the link in question passes over it.0
