Hardrock Pro - upgrades

Recently bought an '07 Spesh Hardrock Pro.
I fancied a hardtail with Hydro discs. Probably should have gone for the Commencal in hindsight but there you go. Paid a bit extra for the Pro over the Hydro Sport as everyone seemed to agree the Sport's RST fork was a pile of sh!te.
Is the Marzocchi Race fork that came with the Pro still a load of tripe?
I'm having a right blast on it at the minute (coming from a heap of Diamondback F/S steel lump that induced its own gravity) but wondered if there was an obvious upgrade*
I've chucked some clipless M540 pedals on it and upgraded the tyres from the ridiculously skinny sidewalls that came with the bike to the Resolution Pros.
* please dont say yes... take it back and get the entry level Rockhopper or the Commencal Combi Disc.

Yep, the fork is a bucket of crap! new fork like a Tora or Recon will transform this bike.0

Hmm, looks like that extra £100 I spent on the Pro wasn't a wise investment.
Something like a Tora 318 then?0 -
if you are going down the new fork route. STOP and have a think.
the tora is a good fork. but it is HEAVY and a lighter fork will last you longer (IE you want want to change it in 2 months.
i would see if you can pick up a Reba in a few months....."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Weights:
MX Pro 4.6lbs
Recon 351 air 4.0lbs
Tora 302 Uturn 5.3lbs
Tora 318 air 4.5lbs
Tora 302 air 2006 4.3lbs
Reba 3.55lbs
Current fork 5lbs
So a reba or recon will save a lot of weight of what is a heavy bike already, and Rebas are very cheap at the minute (180 on wiggle)0 -
