Just thought I'd mention this in case anyone is in the area. The film of Graham Obree's story is showing at the Old Market Hall from 3rd to 6th September.

You can book seats online here - look for the 'OMH Online Booking' link.
Aspire not to have more, but to be more.

    I love films about railways.

Trainspotting was good too - and brief encounter (but not enough trains in that) .

Oh ... I see. That's me looking daft again as usual! :)

Good film, if you like your cycling that is...

Just hope your experience of watching the film is better than mine. My local cinema (as most cinemas do, by all accounts  ) showed a handful of trailers before the film. How shocked was I, when they started playing the trailer for the Flying Scotsman. Arrrggghhh  Not sure if I was the only person in the audience, but I put my hands over my ears, closed my eyes, and made la-la-la "I can't hear you noises".

    Still enjoyed the film, though.
