Crown race?

At least I think it's called that lol

When swapping forks, is it always necessary to swap the crown race? or are they all the same?

If they need swapping - whats the best way to remove and fit it?

The Crown race is part of the headset, so it needs to be swapped over as they do differ.

If you have the same crown race on each fork then there will be no problem with swapping the forks over.

Well.... they look the same, I'm swapping between a 2005 XTC 3, and a 2007 trance 2.... both headsets have the same logo on them.
