bury st edmunds suffolk routes

Hey,

anyone know of any good areas around Bury St Edmunds, ideally within spitting distance for some good trails?

I have the old Timber thetford forest scene only about 20 minutes away but was just curious if there is anything else nearby?

    Hey Seb

    From Bury myself as well, like you say there is thetford which is always good on both sides of the road, a friend from work has found a 17mile loop around the bury area which consists of mainly bridle ways and some road.
    Will let you know the route when I find out.
    There are a few little riding spots around Thurston and Great barton but would only keep you occupied for a few hours.

    Other wise you could try this

    Haven't yet had the chance to head out there but from what i have heard it sounds like they are building some good trails.
