How to import Tacx hrm file into Polar?

I used to use my Polar S720i HR to record my indoor sessions and then import direct from the watch. I don't get the the power of the session tho. So yesterday I decided to 'just' use the Tacx for recording the session, including HR(which isn't reliable when used at the same time as the Polar HR). I've now got an HRM file that I exported from Tacx. So far so good.
Does anybody know how to import this .hrm file into my Polar Precision Perf. software? I can open the hrm file and see the session, but it doesn't go into the diary! I've changed the name of the file so that it follows the naming convention of the the true polar files (YYMMDDnn.hrm) but nothing I do puts it into the diary. I've tried restarting the software several times after each thing I try but still no joy.

There needs to be a file yyyymmdd.ppd which points to the .hrm file(s) for that day. This file contains the day information and exercise information that comes up when you click on the days in the training diary. I'm not sure how you could work out what the exercise info section should contain though... maybe just paste the info from another exercise but change it so it points to the right file and it might automatically update it? All seems a bit long winded to me though, you would have thought there would be an easier way to do it, I'm not aware of one though.0

Thanks for the help Phil. I saw the pdd file and assumed it would get updated but it doesn't.
Mucked around as per your suggestions and the details needed to be changed, weight, sleep hrs, etc. This wasn#'t a solution I was happy with.
This is the way to do it!!
1. Double click the correct day in the diary
2. At the bottom right hand corner of the popup, click "Add New Exercise"
3. To the bottom right hand side in the "Attached HR information", click the paperclip icon and select "Open Exercise file to be attached..."
4. Find your .hrm file and click Open
5. Click OK and you're done!
