Giant XTC 4.5

Hiya,

Considering buying the Giant XTC 4.5 for my first bike. It's £500. Any thoughts or suggestions are very welcome.

I see in your useful guide the Giant Terrago (£425) is listed. This is the bike they offered me in my local bike shop, but having researched a bit more, I've found the XtC 4.5 for £410 - better bike and better components for less money, although I would have to buy off the net - obviously not getting the personalized service and useful advice.

Any advice? Thanks

Just got an XTC 3.5 for £535 and it's sweet.

Pauls Cycles have it on for £525 and I managed to get my local bike shop to price match (£535 including postage...)
