Turbo Trainers and Q/R skewers

Hello,
I've got a Specialized bike and the wheel's Q/R skewers do not fit the axle cups for my old Turbo Trainer. Is this a common problem or is it just my turbo is out of date ? Any help will be much appreciated.

    You can get special turbo squarer ended skewers especially for turbos. I think Tacx do them. Some skewers do fit better than others.

    What make is your Turbo?

    My Tacx came with its own 'special' Q/R Skewers to allow this. Might yours have had these and they are on an old wheel?

    Thanks, I'll have a look for the Tacx skewers in the shops. The turbo is an old 'Gist' one which was given to me by a mate. It was okay with the rear wheel of my previous bike which was a Ribble, but doesn't fit the Spesh.
