Hi Guys,
Just trying to get into cycling as both a weekend thing and a way to commute, as my commute is currently a very slow 12 miles on the train. So I'm hoping to buy a road bike but have no experience in this, and am looking at the bottom end of the market. I went to my local shop which rec'd a GT R Series 4 (2007) discounted from 600 to 480. I can't find much online about this bike so I'm wondering if anyone else has any experience with it.
If anyone else knows of better starter bikes in the sub 500 range please also post!
