Training rides near Newport, Shropshire?

Morning all
I'm going to be working in Newport, Shropshire for 10 days (last day at work today, woohoo!) and am keen to get a couple of rides in while I'm there. Any suggestions?
No more than about 50 miles, preferably with a decent hill in somewhere and not too many main roads if possible.
Any ideas would be welcomed.

plenty of leaflets there that take in Newport. If you want a good climb head south through Telford to Ironbridge. From there you have no choice! Coalport bank is a cat 4 on the TOB this year although personally I've always struggled more on the other side of the river. Basically once you cross the Severn the further South and West you go the hillier it gets.
