My original tyres are getting worn on my stumpy i was wondering if any body could reccomend a good set of tyres for the winter i ride cross country, trail centres etc

    How about a pair of Panaracer Fire XC's from Merlin for 20 quid? I've got them on my bike and I think they're very good indeed.
