If the wheels are 650, then he would need a bigger chainring than normal - but that still looks MASSIVE !0

Shoes aren't odd at all - they are just the Nike overshoes. Very aero indeeed.
Nik won a bronze medal int he National 12 recently so is a very handy rider indeed. He's well known for his big chainrings - apparently he just finds himself faster with that size.0 -
