Is it a chainring or a spare wheel?

My god, is that chainring normal or is that guy some sort of freakish monster?

    Thats Nik Bowdler.
I gues that he can pedal reasonably well as his time trial time sfor 10,25,50 and 100 miles respectively are :

    19:29, 50:40, 1:45:47 and 3:43:50.

If the wheels are 650, then he would need a bigger chainring than normal - but that still looks MASSIVE !

Shoes aren't odd at all - they are just the Nike overshoes. Very aero indeeed.

Nik won a bronze medal int he National 12 recently so is a very handy rider indeed. He's well known for his big chainrings - apparently he just finds himself faster with that size.

I think what was meant was that the left overshoe does not match ;)

    Good spot  !

Maybe his washing machine does to overshoes what mine does to socks?

Thats a normal chainset - he's only 3 foot seven.

  • 62T? It's a 77T according to this!

    Very strange.
