At least they could pick out of a good pool of riders.

Also, someone should tell them not to both with the PT and just get in good with ASO.

    one major problem may be the age of the riders when this team is scheduled to start in 2009. McEwan will be 37, Evans 32 whilst Michael Rogers might be ok at 30.
  • Plenty of younger up and coming Australian riders, like those with South Australia.com-AIS (Sulzberger, Clarke etc).

    Also Allan Davis would only be 29 in 2009, as will Simon Gerrans and Brett Lancaster 30. Can already see a lead out train being built there. Then there's people like Chris Sutton and William Walker.

    And Evans at 32 could still be a good bet, certainly in some of the Classsics.
