Best XC racing saddle and seat post

Hi

I am looking to get a new saddle and seat post for XC racing. Can anyone suggest some contenders? what are you using?

I need a very comfy saddle.

    Depends on budget. Top end carbon and Ti posts are the ultimate in lightness, but for reasonable money the SMICA post is unbeatable. Light strong and cheap, lighter than Thomson and just as well made for half the money. Saddle a personal choice, I'd look at the Gobi Wingflex though.

    The Gobi takes a little getting used too,but once you`ve tried it for a few rides,it is very good.

    The SMICA post is made by Post Moderne,but can be tricky to track down.
