What have you measured, exposed stanchion or used a tie wrap and gone riding, and measured the displacement? Yours is the Talas version then?0

exposed stanchion up to the dust line after bottoming the forks out by letting the air out. all the travel was used. yes, mine i the talas version.I said hit the brakes not the tree!!

have had the fork sent off because of oil leaking from the travel adjuster. could this have anything to do with it?I said hit the brakes not the tree!!

With the TALAS forks, after adjusting them down, you need to cycle the fork a few times when you restore them to the full travel setting again, to allow oil in the system to work it's way back into position. Then they'll measure at their full height.
The oil leak may be due to the helix in the TALAS adjuster not working properly. There have been some issues with this on TALAS 2 models.
Mojo can easily fix it.It's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice.0 -
so with less oil in it, would the travel decrease?I said hit the brakes not the tree!!
