Anyone ridden a Gary Fisher Supercaliber 26"?

Just interested to know what it's like. Going VERY cheap at the moment @ £900 so a possible mega bargain, unlike it's 29" cousin which is still expensive. Unfortunately can't find any reviews of the 26" model online.
My main concern is the low bottom bracket, about an inch and a half lower than some other bikes at 31cm. How much is this likely to impact on ride quality? Yeah lower centre of gravity but people have commented on pedal scraping going round corners and/or on rough terrain.
