i recently bought some suntour xcr forksand felt the springs were too light as the pre load is wound to max and as a result setting the sag is not quite right,so i have just bought a stiffer spring for my weight but i have no instructions on stripping fork to put the new one in.
they are brand new suntour xcr with left leg preload and right leg lockout.simlar to these http://www.srsuntour-cycling.com/SID=si ... &tnid=1226
but mine are silver/grey and disc only.
any advice on replacing the spring is welcomed.
thanks

i now have pdf file showing "exploded view"of forks and the order the parts go together.
ive also put pics of the forks in my signature.
is it just a case of undoing the preload and lockout then taking the uppers out?0 -
Usually a spring change invloves removing the top cap of the spring leg and simply dropping in the new spring.0
