Spare Wheels with Disc Brakes

Hello people,
I'm new here and have a question. I have never had disc brakes before but am looking at buying a new bike that has them (Kona Cinder Cone). If I have spare wheels (with slicks for riding to work in case you're wondering) do I need to buy discs for them too? How easy is it to remove and replace wheels with disk brakes?
Thank you,
Phil.

The wheels remove like any other wheel, undo the QR and pullout! If you get spare wheels they will need the same rotors, and probably spacers so the rotor fits in exactly the same postion or you will have to readjust them time. Sometimes easier just to change tyres over...0

it is easier to just change tyres, unless you fit a disc on your spare but then you'll have to have a spare set of pads too. unless you want to be bedding in the pads every ride then might as well save your money and stick the crappy caliper brakes you get with kids bmx back in the day0
