Mrs Postie has set her heart on one, not that she's seen one, yet :? Anyway she's off for a test ride, in the week.
What others should she be looking at for around £1.5k, (in the on coming sales) so at least she will be better informed, even though in the end her heart will rule her head.

BTW, she's a bit of a shorty, currently riding a Dolce 44cm

    A friend has a Contessa which I recently serviced for her - the matt white paint is very brittle and shows up the marks easily. The paint on the forks flakes off very easily too - she's already had one pair replaced under warranty - it makes a £1.5k bike look very cheap in a year. If you're going to be using the bike regularly or shipping it in the car, you might want to think about something that doesn't show the knocks so easily. Can't really advise on the alternatives
    Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
