ive just re-tensioned my rear wheel, and now the spokes ping. only quietly and not the whole time, but they still ping. is this serious? is it worth worrying about? is there anything to do about it?
they did ping slightly before, but not as much as now.
any help much appreciated.

They are 'bedding in' as they shift into position. A wheel builder will stress relieve the spokes by grabbing them tightly in pairs, then will do a final true. have a llok at Sheldon and his wheel building article, as in my sig.0
