Bottom Bracket Info please

I've got a Carerra Fury 06, and need to replace the bottom bracket (not happy bike is only six months old). Are bottom brackets a universal fit, if not, any suggestions as to which ones I should look at buying

Nope, not universal fit. Best way is to remove your existing one, then see what is marked on the label. This way you wil find out the correct axel length and shell size.
Not sure what the Fury has though, sorry!0 -

if you can tget it replaced under warranty and have to fork out yourself, it would be well worth considering an external bb type and replace the chainset together, i think you can get an lx bb and crankset (which is a super dooper bit of kit) for around 65-75 quid. they will fit onto any bike and will certainly fit yours.0
