Im in the market for some bars, and at the moment ive got some called "iridium" components, bars stem and seat post. I cant find any info on them anywhere, so has anyone heard of iridium components? Secondly, on-ones bars, a good option for xc and a bit of marathon trecking? Im after somethig light and comfy. Cheers

For comfort, look at the "mary" bars from On-One. They look a bit odd, but are very comfy. A much more natural angle for the wrist to sit at.

Mary bars are excellent. I have a set on my GT and have just put another set on my Inbred.
They do look a bit odd, kinda like what you'd expect on a shopping bike, so you get the piss taken a bit from yer mates. However, they are real comfy due to the natural wrist angle on the bars as ratty stated.
I now find riding with normal bars to be a bit 'odd'!!

Mmmm, had alook. Now Im no poseur, but I really do think they look like mobility scooter bars. Dont know if I could getaway with it, what happens if I have to cycle past someone?! So no ones heard of Iridium components then? The original question?
