I usually ride a Bianchi with Podium tubs but have ridden a new Specialised Transition with own brand Mondo clinchers on for a five and a ten this week. In both events I felt I was going as normal but both times were well over half a minute down on my slowest times. Does anyone know anything about Mondos characteristics i.e. rolling resistance as I am hoping that it's the tyres that are producing the fall off in performance rather than me or the bike. I could change the wheels but it means changing the ten speed chain to a seven and going from ten to a straight through seven speed Suntour block. :?:
