Hi guys...

I'm currently usingTime ATAC pedals for my road bike (yes I know they're atp's) I'm looking at getting road pedals but considering that I still have to walk a fair bit here and there, I'd like to continue to use my sidi dominator off road shoes

How compatible are road cleats with those shoes... any ideas?

I was thinking of this pedal set

I think you'd have to cut quite a bit of tread off to fit the bigger cleat

If you are walking any distance I'd stick with spuds.

Like you I used Time Atac on my road bike until recently. When they wore out I was going to get the Atac with titanium spindle and carbon body but the price put me off. Stu at the LBS persuaded me to have a go with Crank Bros Candy - absolutely brilliant. They're the same weight as the top end Time pedals (give or take) but a third of the price. They also look really good on the bike and are very comfortable to pedal.

For what it's worth I second that, a nice little extra with them is you get a spare end cap that you fit and then grease gun the bearings.

Just hold it there,don\'t move and don\'t drop it, I\'ll be back in a while.(If it\'s safe).
