i am currently looking at the GT aggressor XC1 and wondered what you all thought of it and could you recommend some other bikes to me with the same sort of spec and price and my budget is around £500. Thanks

It's a good bike for the dosh, has a similar spec to my Avalanche Expert, which was an £800 bike in 2006, so good going. But you'll also get a lot of responses recommending the Carerra Fury at the same price level, which has a slightly better spec that the XC1.0
