What is the most common saddle used in the pro peleton

I think it must be fizik arione followed by selle italia filte and the selle italia SLR

Any other ones spring to mind

If you're doing a statistical project, this is fine. If you're working out what saddle to get for your riding, ignore what the latest eurojonny is paid to ride and get something that suits you.

I agree get a saddle that suits you but that is what a lot of the pros do despite what their advertising may say.

Boonen and McEwan both ride the old Selle Royal Regal saddle with the big rivets on it which was a variation on the Rolls saddle, although I suspect the ones they've got have Ti rails on!!!

It really depends on what sponsorship they/their team have - they'd all ride Brooks with big coil springs if they were being paid enough (hope the UCI don't read this - it might happen!). You generally find that it's the Selle Italia Flite/SLR or Fizik Arione that are most popular beause they are comfortable.
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
